Another favourite blog of mine Sketch and Stash. If I ever need a sketch or inspiration it's the place to go. The simplicity works well allowing you to create amazing cards without the rocket science.This card is for a teenager who is a very special girl indeed. Not only is she turning 12 in a few days time but someone who isturning into a very intelligent and beautiful young lady. The little girl is quicky fading and I really need to remind myself she is no longer the 4 year old flower girl at my wedding.
Below is my take on the sketch. Unfortunately the lighting is poor causing the card to look a bit wishy washy. They are looking for a guest designer so fingers crossed. If you want to join in the fun click here.

cardstock-The Papermill
colouring-Whisper markers watercoloured using koi water brush
shoes- coloured using sakura stardust pens
sentiment- peeloffs
backing paper- from craft superstore
