Sketch and Stash Challenge 23

Another favourite blog of mine Sketch and Stash. If I ever need a sketch or inspiration it's the place to go. The simplicity works well allowing you to create amazing cards without the rocket science.

This card is for a teenager who is a very special girl indeed. Not only is she turning 12 in a few days time but someone who isturning into a very intelligent and beautiful young lady. The little girl is quicky fading and I really need to remind myself she is no longer the 4 year old flower girl at my wedding.

Below is my take on the sketch. Unfortunately the lighting is poor causing the card to look a bit wishy washy. They are looking for a guest designer so fingers crossed. If you want to join in the fun click here.

The ingredients ....

image- Anya- from buddy Mel
flowers- punched with value pm gemstones
cardstock-The Papermill
colouring-Whisper markers watercoloured using koi water brush
shoes- coloured using sakura stardust pens
sentiment- peeloffs
backing paper- from craft superstore

Thankyou to all you peeps for dropping by.

Oh my god my little brother is turning 30 in two days time. I still see him as a wee boy and not the man he is. I wanted to make a very special card, not the usual square card so while blog hopping over a Mandy's sprinkling of glitter I found a blog called.Their challenge this week was an easel card and the best bit is they give you tutorials every week. For a novice like me it was perfect, give it a go it's so easy and the results are amazing. Unfortunately I didn't post my card in time for crazy 4 challenges but I had fun and my mum loved it.
