Forever Friends

Goodmorning my lovelies
and a big hello to all my new followers.

Today I'll be sharing with you one of my all time favourite images, it's called 'lots of love' by Forever Friends. I just think these bears are just the cutest and such a joy to colour.
For months now I have seen some amazing projects using the kraft colour combo and I new instantly I just had to have a go! For such a simple product boy was it difficult to choose, which leads me to a big shout out to my wonderful design team buddy Carol. She very kindly sent me a sample of kraft cardstock and was also a little bit naughty by introducing me to a wonderful online craft shop...so many goodies that I 'need' ha ha.

So another two weeks have whizzed by and we have a brand new challenge over at Charisma. This week my team mate Caz has chosen the theme...

CLEAN AND SIMPLE

here's today's card..

once again we have some amazing sponsors and don't forget the design team have created some wonderful projects which should inspire you to join us...check them out here

That's all from me
hugs to you all
and I hope your having a fabulous day!

Badda Bing

Goodmorning all!

Brrrrrrrrr! it's freezing outside this morning. This of course resulted in a rather chaotic school run, spent ages trying to find gloves that not only matched but fitted and that the boys liked *sigh* Time for a clear out and a trip to the shops!

My project that I'll be sharing with you today is for our new challenge over at Charisma and this week the lovely Vanessa has chosen our theme....

BADDA BLING!

in other words shiny or bling

Once again we have some amazing sponsors on board giving away fabulous prizes this week. Exact details can be found on our challenge blog here

***

Whenever possibly I always take my camera with me. Sometimes the children love posing for the camera but then they're times when they are shouting 'mum not again'! So it's not surprising that many of my pictures are taken when they are distracted, busily playing and unaware of the camera. What better way to capture precious moments than on film and to then have them turned into a scrapbook page.

This picture was taken when we went to Burntisland with friends of ours during the summer holidays this year.It was a typical summers day in Scotland, one minute your slapping the sun cream on to protect you from the sun, next your sitting on a blanket having a picnic in the rain!  By the end of our day we were soaked to the bone but everyone was still smiling and giggling.... now that's what you call a fun adventure!

That's all from me this morning however I'll be back later today with another scrapbook page I made for Sarah Hurley Challenges. Can't wait? then check out our challenge blog here!

Big hugs to all my followers both old and new

Seeing double

Good evening all how are we today?

I'm sat here looking out my craft room window while the rain batters against the glass and the trees are swaying manically to and fro and thinking, is this the start of Autumn already? yuk!! I'm still expecting my summer to arrive but I reckon I have a long wait ahead *sigh* As much as I enjoy running in the rain I wouldn't mind swapping it for a trip to the beach and giving my bikini one last airing lol

However there's one thing I don't have to wait on and that's our brand new challenge over at Charisma.

This week our theme is....

SEEING DOUBLE

Super easy one for you this week!!!! We want to see double images!!! double papers, what ever that's double!

Please remember only 3 entries per person and no more than 10 challenge links!.

We are proud to have the following sponsors :

PRIZE ONE
Crafty Ribbons

The Lovely Ali from Crafty ribbons has so kindly donated TBA for a lucky winner this week! If you've not been to Crafty Ribbons shop online OMG where have you been i mean... there are sooooo many wonderful lush ribbons go on have a peek!! you know you want to!!!
PRIZE TWO
Digi Doodle Shop, who are offering 1 lucky winner a $10 voucher each to spend in their online shop! Wow!
I think the weather influenced my choice of image this week as I dug out my Sugar Nellie Autumn kit but I must have still been thinking of summer as I pulled out my favourite papermania papers. For those who visit my blog regularly will tell you how much I love my blue promarkers so they came out for a wee play too ;-)

well that's it from me for now but I reckon later tonight I might actually take time out from my hectic life and spend some time blog hopping...just because I can.

Something Magical

Good afternoon all...

stand up who stole the summer hols? Don't you think they have whizzed by this year?  It's been a bit crazy in the Broon's hoose so I shouldn't really be that surprised. However with both boys now in nursery and primary one  this week I'm hoping life will settle down a bit.

Today I'm sharing with you my DT card for Sarah Hurley Challenges..it's a little late but I won't bore you with the details. Instead I'll tell you how much fun I had making my very first shaker twisted easel card. It's something I have been wanting to try for a long time now and I'm pretty pleased with my first attempt. Anyway....

Our new monthly challenge theme is.....

SOMETHING MAGICAL

and this time we will be sponsored by thee Joanna Sheen who will be giving this months winner a whopping £10 voucher to spend in her online store...how fab is that!!

For this challenge I decided to use elements from Sarah's wizard school mini kit...it's just stinking cute and perfect for the wee boys in our lives.

my colouring is a bit poo due to my promarker ice grey 1 and 3 drying up but other than that I'm pretty pleased..not bad for a male card lol

If you want to join us and see oodles of inspiration from the rest of the dt team you will find the challenge blog

 here

Thanks again for stopping by and fingers crossed you won't have to wait too long for my next post.

Santa's Workshop

Good afternoon peeps...are you all enjoying this glorious sunshine? Lets hope it remain this way for the time being.

Today I've got a card to show you using some of the elements from Sarah's new Santa Workshop craft cd & digi kit.

I'll admit I was struggling a bit to get into the festive spirit of things with the hot sunshine blazing through my window. But desperate times require desperate measures so I took it upon myself to create a Christmas Playlist of my all time favourite songs and blast them out my speakers. You can't help but giggle when you hear 'baby it's cold outside' sung by Margaret Whiting and John Mercer and not Bing Crosby and Doris Day as most would believe. And once you start playing around with Sarah's cd it's hard not to get lost and forget that it's only the middle of August.

Below is a cheeky wee card....aren't those poloroid pics just adorable!

more details about Sarah's Santa Workshop can be found here!

well that's it for me and hopefully it won't be too long til my next post.

but until then a huge shout goes out to my followers both old and new...love you and all the little comments you leave!!

THE BIG REVEAL!

Good evening all...how are we all today?

I'm super excited as I can finally reveal one of the best kept secrets that we on Sarah Hurley's Design Team have been bursting to spill. I know you are just dying to know what all the fuss is about so I have posted below exactly what's going on.......in Sarah's very own words!

I apologise for the epic post but it had to be done so sit down, get yourself comfy and grab a cuppa

*******

Today I'm totally thrilled to introduce my new product range, something I have been working on for months and months, so I can bring you a system rather than just a product. This new range, my new love, is Documented365!

The idea for Documented365 came from the realisation that the best things, the funniest things, the happiest moments are not always when they are "supposed" to be, not just on Christmas, our Birthdays, at our special occasions, often they happen in every day life and are quickly missed, moved on from, because the camera isn't to hand, we weren't expecting it, it wasn't planned for. Not any more! With this easy system and product range, you can quickly put together those memories and record everyday things you may not have before. Instagram pictures, tweets, funny things your husband / child / friend said that cracked you up - all those things you don't want to forget.

You can also capture parts of your everyday life, this year I have been tracing my family history with Ancestry.co.uk and as I'm finding people I wish I knew more, what their favourite outfit was, what they liked to do, how they used to live - now I can leave that for future generations of my family - my first records include, whats on my desk, my favourite outfit, how I wore my hair that day, my obsession with vintage headscarves, my nail polish colours - it may seem silly but this is the stuff you will look back on fondly, that your children / grandchildren / great grandchildren will want to know - it what makes you who you are.

I wanted a system that was easy but didn't take away the creativity - something I could use just to write something on and stick a picture on if I wanted but something I could also get very creative with and use to make scrapbook layouts, mini albums, smash book pages and so much more and with this mix and match collection you choose the pieces to make your perfect collection!

The first 22 kits launched today with lots of new products coming over the next few weeks (both digital and physical products) you can see them all here in my shop.

There is also a fab competition over on the Documented365 blog courtesy of our sponsor Prinstagram who have donated a bumper prize! You have 3 chances to win, so don't miss out!

This is just part of her story, the rest you will find here!

Below is my project which I created using just a fraction of the documented 365 elements

Time Flies

Good afternoon...

How are we all today? The title of my post pretty much sums up my days especially when your out having fun..time just seems to whizz by!Anyway today I'm sharing with you my dt card for Charisma and this week I have set the challenge and I have chosen the theme

 RECYCLE

You can go as adventurous as you like or add just that little magic touch. I found a piece of ribbon that I took of an old gift bag so that was the deciding factor for my colour choice this week. I don't normally make green cards but this was a lot of fun and it's nice every now and again to get out your comfort zone.

I'm a bit disappointed that I couldn't get a great picture but it's been raining pretty much everyday now for two weeks. However that hasn't stopped me from running out in it like I did last night...in fact it made it all more interesting lol

So you'll be wondering who our sponsors are this week and what amazing prizes are up for grabs..well check out the details below.

Dimention and texture

Evening all!!

Have you had a fabby day? Mine has pretty much been non stop and most of my time was spent at school. Both boys had parties followed by a volunteers tea party and finally the summer service. It was Arran's last day as he will be moving on to primary 1 after the summer holidays. I thought I would cry but no I was very brave until I got home and read a poem Arran. It's hard to believe how grown up he is getting and how quickly at that.

So tonight I'm sharing with you my dt tag for our challenge over at Sarah Hurley Challenges. I made it using Sarah's Woodland Whimsey stamp set and papers. Isn't that little owl just so adorable?

We also have a fabulous prize up for grabs from Letraset

Our challenge for you this week is

Dimension and Texture

I've just finished two hours of zumba and so far this week I have ran two 5k runs so my brain and body are a bit tired...early bed I think for me.

So take care and hope you all have a lovely weekend

hugs Clare x

Never too Old

Morning all!!

Is the sun shining where you are? Or are you looking out your windows watching the rain bounce off the pavements like I am :-( I do hope summer has not been cancelled lol. I do hope not I've got 8 weeks off work and two children to entertain rainy days are simplt not part of my agenda.

So today I'm sharing with you my dt for Charisma. It's actually a card I made a while back...well when I say made I actually mean lying in bits on my desk just waiting to be stuck together. I just needed a spare 5 mins to do it which these days is pretty hard to find.

This stamp was given to me by a very good friend of mine for my Christmas....it's one of my favourite LOTV stamps then again I do love them all!! The sentiment is just perfect for this image.I absolutely believe 100% that you are never too old for a hug. For me a hug just says it all and is perfect for so many situations whether it be to comfort someone, to say goodbye, to celebrate or perhaps to show someone how much you have missed them. Of course the best ones of all are the ones I get from my children....the just because ones lol.

Our challenge this week is nice and easy..

 Anything goes

please check out our blog to see what yummy prizes are up for grabs not to mention the other DT creations.

Well folks that's all from me this morning but I will be back later with my DT card for Sarah Hurley Challenges.

take care

Charisma Dt Challenge - male cards

Goodmorning how are we all? Have any of you had the chance to see the Olympic torch yet? Yesterday myself and the boys did just that in my hometown along with a few other hundred children from Arran's school. Was I excited? god yeah! Who wouldn't be, the perfect opportunity to see and play a small part of history in the making. I loved it all, hearing the children cheer and scream as the floats and the torch bearer went by, watching the children waving their flags and torches, not to mention the smiles of their faces when the cocoa cola float handed out free bottles of juice. The place was just buzzing proving that still in this day in age we can when we want to show real community spirit. A day I know for sure I will never ever forgot and I don't think the boys will either.

So what exciting things are happening today...well we have a brand new challenge over at Charisma and our theme this week is...

 Male cards

.....did I just hear you all cringe at the thought. Well fear no more pop on over to our challenge blog and check out thee most amazing dt cards they will blow you away. So don't be scared, join in and who knows you may just be lucky enough and win one of our prizes that we have up for grabs. All details about our sponsors and prizes are over on our blog here.

Sarah Hurley Challenges- tags

Hi all how is everyone today? It's a bit miserable here today in Scotland it's cold, wet and windy yuk!! Needless to say my poor wee umberella took a right battering today but I'll be off to sunnier climates tomorrow so there's no rush to go out and buy another one just yet!

I know it's been ages since my last post, but I have got so much going on at home, some good stuff and some not so good which has meant I'm taking a small break from my dt commitments. So it's going to be a little quiet around here for a little while. However I will try and pop by your blogs from time to time just to keep me sane lol

So today I'm sharing with you a little tag I made for Sarah Hurely's new challenge.

 Our theme this week is

 TAGS AND TICKETS

Our very own Princess Sarah is our sponsor this weeks and she has 3 amazing prizes up for grabs. Exact details can be found here

Here's my tag using left over scraps from a previous project

Once again my fabulous teamies have made some amazing projects and again all very different. Please check them out here and leave some love if you can.

Before I head off to sort out some last minute holiday stuff I'll share this friendship poem that a very special friend of mine sent. I am so thankful for having some pretty amazing friends especially those who have been there for me through the good and the bad times...you know who you are lol

I got your back you got mine
I'll help you out anytime
To see you hurt to see you cry
makes me weep and wanna die.
And if you agree to never fight,
wouldn't matter who's wrong or right.
If a broken heart needs a good mend,
I'll be there, right to the end.
Your cheeks are wet from drops of tears,
Don't worry, let go of your fears.
Hand in hand love is sent
We'll be friends TIL THE END!!

take care and thanks for all the comments you have left

Charisma Cardz Challenges- Shabby Chic

Morning all...are you looking for a super new challenge? Well as it happens your in luck. But before I get onto that I'd like to wish my dad a fabulous birthday....he's 60 today.

Now where were we,oh that's right, a super new challenge and it's over at Charisma.

This week it's Carlys turn to host and she has chosen the theme

SHABBY CHIC

If I'm honest I wasn't entirely sure what shabby chic was and it scared the living daylights out of me delving into the unknown. There's also that added pressure of being a dt member, I'm supposed to inspire you yet there was me nervously scouring blogland for inspiration, praying I could pull this style off. Did I succeed? I'm not entirely convinced but it sure was fun. So if your thinking this challenge isn't for you I say give it a go and you may surprise yourself perhaps even produce a project you might be proud of.

We have two amazing sponsors this week, prize details can be found here and not only that Zoe from bunny Zoe Crafts is very kindly giving anyone who enters our challenge this week

10% off their order

how amazing is that!

Please check out my dt card below

feeling inspired then join us here

I'd like to enter my card into the following challenges

sketch saturday- sketch

any questions please feel free to leave a comment.

enjoy your day and thanks for stopping by.

hugs Clare
