Hi peeps how are you all? Nice and relaxed I hope after the easter weekend. It's funny really while i am trying to write this post all I can hear is Lewis babbling in his cot, practicing all of his words, well two really mama and dada lol.
Anyhoo less distraction and let's talk about my wee birdhouse. While blog hopping I came across this cute little birdhouse tutorial. I have a link in my sidebar if you fancy a go or to see how it is really done. I have to say it was so easy and so much fun that I am about to make another.
I decided to go for the less is more approach, not a flower insight as I thought my new bunny martha stewart punch and sentiment was enough. My stamp was 50p and my punch was £8.99 from hobbly craft and I just had to get the chick punch too!!! To top it off I used a clip which I received in a rak, sorry can't remember who tut tut lol The roof was made from excess dp that I used earlier on a card.I used decorative scissors to give the tile effect.
I have yet to buy mini eggs for the inside but you get the idea.
I would so love to know your thoughts on this one as this is my first anything but a card project.
I am entering this card into the following challenges
crafty creations- Anything goes
one stitch at a time- Anything goes
meljens designs-Anything goes
cutecardthursday-Anything goes
easy craft projects-Easter
Take care
