Happy Birthday Scott

I did promised you I would be back but where's the naming cards you ask yourself. Well they collected today on the assumption hubby had took pictures last night and you can guess the rest, no pictures arghhhhhhh. I was absolutely delighted by the way they both had turned out as I had never done naming cards before and was slightly worried my friend Susan and her mum would hate them. If the cards haven't already been past on I will get a picture soon.

This week it was my fabulous friend Susie's Daughter's birthday but it was also her hubbie's. So this is the card I made, not a stamp in site so not done that in a while. I still have the sentiment to do but just realised it's friday night and the sketch I used was for Sketch Saturday so needed to post asap.

woo hoo I made the top 5

I have just made the top 5 over at passion for promarkers, my first ever!!! I will now proudly place my blinky on the side bar for all to see.

Thanks a bunch

I really can't believe Arran is going to nursery next week, where has these last 3 years gone? His nursery is part of Kinaird primary school so he thinks he is going to school and tells me off if I say nursery. Arran has 2 weeks left at a private nursery which he has attended since he was 1 so it will be a sad farewell, missing both the staff and the children as some will go to a different school.

The card below was made for the staff at his nursery to thank them for making Arrans time there a very happy one.It won't be the last I see them as I know Lewis will be attending next year before he starts the nursery, boy that sounds scary!!!

Hanglar stamp

How adorable is this little Hanglar stamp? A few weeks back I won a challenge over at sketch saturday which was sponsered by Maya from Norway. I manged to enter my card only an hour before the deadline and when I saw the number of entries I thought to my self, no chance. When I came back from my holidays there lying in amongst the bills was my wee package so you can guess which I opened first.

I really wanted to make a special card but with house sale etc I have neither had time or the energy to do so. Also I wanted to find the perfect sketch and after a lot of blog hopping I finally came across this new blog called crafting life's pieces.

After a couple of hours of playing this is the card that emerged and to me it is very special.

Dp's- PM capsule collection (sunshine

I will be entering this card into the following challenges

birdhouse

Hi peeps how are you all? Nice and relaxed I hope after the easter weekend. It's funny really while i am trying to write this post all I can hear is Lewis babbling in his cot, practicing all of his words, well two really mama and dada lol.

Anyhoo less distraction and let's talk about my wee birdhouse. While blog hopping I came across this cute little birdhouse tutorial. I have a link in my sidebar if you fancy a go or to see how it is really done. I have to say it was so easy and so much fun that I am about to make another.

I decided to go for the less is more approach, not a flower insight as I thought my new bunny martha stewart punch and sentiment was enough. My stamp was 50p and my punch was £8.99 from hobbly craft and I just had to get the chick punch too!!! To top it off I used a clip which I received in a rak, sorry can't remember who tut tut lol The roof was made from excess dp that I used earlier on a card.I used decorative scissors to give the tile effect.

I have yet to buy mini eggs for the inside but you get the idea.

I would so love to know your thoughts on this one as this is my first anything but a card project.

I am entering this card into the following challenges

crafty creations- Anything goes
one stitch at a time- Anything goes
meljens designs-Anything goes
cutecardthursday-Anything goes
easy craft projects-Easter

Take care

Crafty Calendar GDT card

First I would like to apologise for the lack of posts but blogger decided to go mental and wouldn't let me post which to say the least has been a real pain in the bum. I've only managed a couple of cards this week but will post them over the next few days now that blogger is in line.

Below is my GT card for the very talented Georgia over at crafty calendar. You would never guess she is only 14, her cards are amazing so please pop over to her blog.

paper-K & Co
image- digi mo's pencil
embelishments-stash
sentiment-computer
colouring-promarkers

OK, for this month's challenge, the theme is 'April Fools'. We would like to see you make a fun or humorous card or project. It doesn't have to be hilariously funny, but just something fun and cheerful to celebrate April Fools Day on 1st April.

There is an optional extra of embossing, although this is not compulsory.

fingers crossed blogger will start behaving, so not a happy bunny, sorry had to be said.Take care for now and hope to be back soon.
