my first digi image!!!

I have seen many crafters use digi images but have never had the urge to try them out until now. I guess I just love my stamps but I can 100% say I have walked over to the dark side hee hee.

I have always popped over to pollycraft and had a browse every now and again. But when I noticed they are having a dt call well I thought it was about time I entered the world of digital crafting. To enter all you have to do is create a card using one of the two freebie images or you can make two if you wish. As this is my first time using digi images I am not pinning my hopes on winning but it was really fun to do and that's all that matters.

whew the last of the birthday cards

This wee card was my final one for the rak birthday club. It's been a while since I have used a gorjuss girl image but I so enjoyed colouring her. Once again I used the fab papers that mel gave me, can't thank you enough hun.There's another fab sketch this week over at sketch saturday so couldn't resist having a go.

you've guessed another birthday card

Boy it's a busy month over at the rak, thinks there's six in total for birthdays. A bit like buses non for ages then they all come in at once.

It's been ages since I entered over at MAWTT which is a shame because I do love their challenges. This weeks it's a girly theme and sketch and once again a fabby prize up for grabs.

Out of the blue!!!

Well was I shocked to read this email from Georgia over at crafty calendar. Georgia has asked me to be a guest designer for the month of April, so never saw that one coming, nice surprise though!! Of course I said yes so looking forward to creating my DT card for that, got a few ideas on paper and running around my head so will be doing that in the next few days.

This months challenge is flowers, nice and easy no excuse not to enter.


I have only ever been guest designer once before and that was over at MAWTT but boy did I have fun and the girls are just fab. I will be posting my card for their challenge in a mo, every week is fab so please pop over and join in the fun.

Woo hoo another card

I think I may have found a new love, Lili of the valley stamps!! They are just so beautiful so keep your eyes peeled for more of my cards with these images!!!

Believe it or not but I actually had a light bulb moment today which doesn't happen that often for me. It was the use of my wee sizzix mushroom. Your probably wondering why would I buy a mushroom die well I bought it at the same time as some hello kitty dies, unfortunately sizzix managed to **** up all the orders during their mega sale and I didn't get any hello kitty dies except the hello kitty mushroom!!! I could have sent it back but thought I might use it someday and I was right.

Daisy Daisy

I finally manged to get some time to make all my cards for the birthday club over at the rak. It's was all thanks to hubby for looking after the kids saturday afternoon. I don't think I have ever made so many cards in one day. Below is just one of them the rest will follow shortly.

Quick hello

Oh how great it feels to be blogging and crafting again even if it only for a couple of hours.Great news though, house went up for sale Wednesday and we have had one viewer already, downside she came at night so no crafting for me boo!!! My house is clean and everthing is where it should be which looks kind of odd, doesn't look or feel like my house anymore, even my craft room is immaculate. I managed to make a card for the birthday club over at the rak club one of quite a few in March. I also need to make a card for the March rak swap, anyone interested in joining get in touch.

The image I used is one of my new Lili of the valley stamps which I must say are just so so adorable and they are so many I 'need'. I have to laugh though as my friend Susie said the other day I need images like a hole in the head. This was said after we had a wee craft night a few weeks back when I stamped a few images..akoy a lot!!! and Susie then won mOre stamps over at MAWTT. Images to me are like shoes and handbags to others, you can never have enough lol!

The DP's were given to me in a rak from my bud Dawn or 004 1/2 as I now like to call her. The satin finish is just gorgeous so I will be asking her where she got them. Flowers and buttons and ribbon are all from the sunshine capsule collection.I also have the red hot collection both of which I would highly recommend if you are after co-ordination and great value. I bought mine from cutting edge crafts, a fab website to say the least.

Oh almost forgot the wee ribbon addition I pinched from a DT member over at sketch saturday where funnily enough I got my sketch from. I used my x cut ribbon punch which I have to confess I bought months and months ago but never been out of packaging.
